First: Freight handling of transit goods:​

Note:

  • General cargo includes all goods except: (cars and self-propelled equipment, livestock, bulk cargo, cargo loaded in containers or on flats or trailers).
  • General goods which require handling special equipment and / or special treatment to be paid as provided in (1/1) above, in addition to the fees for the additional services provided to it in accordance with item IV of this table.
  • General cargo handled using container cranes is paid three times the wage stated in item (1/1) above.​

2.1 Fees for the provision of refrigeration services for refrigerated and frozen goods. These wages shall be collected in addition to the storage charges provided for in item III of this table:​

Notes :

  • • The head of the trailer shall be treated according to item (1/3) above, and the trailer attached to the head shall be treated according to the trailer item (1/6).
  • • For cars and self-propelled vehicles that can not be driven to / from the vessel for any reason such as non-suitable vessel or lack of fuel, in which case it shall be paid three times the wage provided for in paragraph (1/3) above.
  • • Tracked vehicles must be mounted on trailers or flats and treated according to trailers (1/6). If it is equipped so that its command does not affect the port equipment, it shall be treated in accordance with item (1/3) above.​

Second: The wages of handling transshipment goods:​


1-Containers and trailers:​

The transfer of the empty or filled container or trailer from any vessel to another vessel, whether transported directly or after passing through the assembly area at the port, shall receive the following wages:​

4.1 An additional fee of SR (600) is paid for the container that requires additional handling.​


5.1 Connect or operate the refueled container or trailer with fuel and temperature control:​

  • • 400 riyals for any period during the first three days after discharge day.
  • • 200 riyals for each day after the first three days after the discharge day or part thereof.​




2. Non-container cargo and trailers:​

(1) to (1/5) in (i) of this Schedule shall be paid once upon unloading the goods and once upon loading the goods.


Third: Storage fees for transit and transit cargo:

  • • Storage charges shall be calculated for the period in which the goods remain in the port after twenty days have elapsed from the date of expiry of the unloading of the goods.
  • • Storage costs are excluded: bulk goods in silos of cement, grains, oils, chemicals and the like.
  • • Transshipment goods in Jazan and Minai Port are exempt from storage charges for three months.
  • • The empty parcel (container or trailer) after ten days from the date of unloading shall be paid (15) riyals for every (20) feet long or part thereof for each day or part thereof.​


IV. Additional Additional Services:​

​Any other additional services to be paid on the basis of (actual cost + 20%) and the service applicant is obliged to insure the materials used, and the actual cost is calculated as follows:

  • - Remuneration of equipment used in accordance with Schedule B Annex.
  • - Employee wages (10) riyals / hour or part thereof.
  • - The wages of skilled or technical workers (20) riyals / hour or part thereof.
  • - The rent of the engineer or supervisor (30) riyal / hour or part thereof.​
