Saudi Cabinet Commend Saudi Ports Achievements

 H.E. Eng. Saleh Al Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Chairman of Mawani, emphasized the significance of the Cabinet’ acknowledgment towards the major accomplishment achieved by Saudi ports, as three of them were leading the Container Port Performance Index 2021 (CPPI 2021), an indicator produced by the Transport Global Practice of the World Bank in collaboration with the Maritime, Trade and Supply Chain division of S&P Global Market Intelligence, which is an enormous source of motivation to aim even further to reach success across various transport and logistics services entities.


While H.E. mentioned that all the efforts are headed towards a clear direction, to achieve the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS) launched by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to position the Kingdom as global logistics hub that connects three continents, noting how this achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the continuous support from our wise leadership.


As the Cabinet led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, commended this remarkable achievement, which reflects the ambitious efforts to, develop Saudi ports, achieve the socioeconomic ambitions, and position the Kingdom as a pioneer within the maritime transport industry.
